Who runs this site

Crestseal is operated by Shrikant, a sole operator based in India, and is the data controller for anything described here. You can reach me at shrikant@crestseal.com with any question about this notice, including a request to see, correct or delete what I hold.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. There are no marketing cookies, no tracking cookies, and no advertising or profiling tools of any kind. That is why you were not asked to accept anything.

Visitor statistics

I use Plausible Analytics to count page views. Plausible sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, collects no personal data for advertising, and does not follow you between sites. It processes data within the European Union. What I see is a count of pages viewed and rough referral sources, not individuals.

To object, use any content blocker, or switch on Do Not Track. Plausible honours it. There is nothing else here to opt out of.

The contact form

The form collects your name, your email address, your chat widget address, and anything you choose to write in the optional message. I use it for one purpose: to reply to you, and to run the check you asked for. It is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising.

Submissions are sent straight to my inbox. They are not stored in any form service or third party dashboard. The message is carried by Resend, an email delivery provider acting as my processor, and is not retained by them beyond delivery logs. I keep enquiries for twelve months and then delete them. If the enquiry becomes a paid engagement, the retention terms in that written agreement apply instead.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or the EU you can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, object to how I use it, or ask for it in a portable form. Email me and I will act within one month. You can also complain to the supervisory authority in your country.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
